A small quote from a bike advertisement of yesteryears truly justifies the existence of this website today. Numerous hours were spent in the design and development of the website keeping in mind to build it on the strong foundation of principles of web development. A blend of old school methodology with the bright splashes of widely popular and happening technologies has been tried and tested successfully here. The result of long perseverance and persistence is here for you to see, analyse and perhaps enjoy.

 

 

 

On my experimentation with the website, sheer knowledge of PHP of a trio of bright and shining stars NEELESH GUPTA ,   SUSHIL PANDEY   &   VAIBHAV PARASHAR  came in handy. All three provided their exceptional programming skills in development of PHP based elements found on the website. Neelesh Gupta was instrumental in customizing the native functionality of the AJAX IM chat engine that we integrated to the website for un interrupted visitor communication. Anirudh Ramchandran (master of all trades) extended his support with "FREE" web hosting and his seamless server end support all these years.

 

Malay Kar photography website is a table less CSS based website truly confirming the interoperability standards set by World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), validity of which can be checked using the two check marked links at the bottom right of the footer. Extensive use of Jquery and Mootools has been done, not only to showcase photographs but to display the sheer power of JavaScript and various libraries being compiled by numerous nerds and talents from all corners of the world.

 

While designing the website I have kept in mind visitors from all over the world with varied internet speed and variable computing machines with all different sorts of monitors and display units including the iPhone. The website has been tested on all latest browsers including: Internet Explorer 7/6, Mozilla 3+, Opera 9.0+, Google Chrome 2.0+, Apple Safari 3.5+ for Windows OS, Apple Safari 4.0+ for Macintosh and Apple Safari for iPhone. Since the sad demise of the legendary Netscape Navigator, there has been a downtrend in its last version download and for this reason it was not considered while testing the website which saved some time to focus on development and interface front.

The website has also been tested for SCREEN READERS for visually impaired.

Website has also been tested for TEXT ONLY BROWSERS using LYNX. Pages didn't show any errors.
